TBMF1Show talks with Williams F1 driver Nicholas Latifi
Canadian Formula 1 driver joins The BackMarkers F1 Show to talk about his upcoming rookie season with Williams.
In our first podcast of the 2020 season, we had the pleasure to chat with Formula 1's newest driver, Nicholas Latifi. Nicholas is entering his first season of Formula 1 and will be racing with ROKIT Williams Racing. He joined Chris Kato & Tyler McDonald to chat about his journey to Formula 1, expectations for 2020, F2 vs F1 differences, and a lot more. We talked for about 20 minutes but could have gone on for a lot longer. Nicholas is a great person to talk with and gave great answers with a lot of detail that everyone will find interesting. A big thank you goes out to Williams who helped set this up, and of course Nicholas Latifi for taking the time to speak with us! We hope you enjoy our interview as much as we did recording it.
Nicholas Latifi was born in Montreal but was raised in Toronto. He is very proud to represent Canada on the world stage and his hometown of Toronto is still very much in his roots. One of the main reasons why he chose the number 6 as his racing number was in reference to Toronto, which is commonly referred to as the 'Six'. Latifi enjoyed his best season of Formula 2 in 2019 when he finished 2nd in the F2 championship. He'll join George Russell for the 2020 Formula 1 season as racing drivers for ROKIT Williams Racing.
